Julie Fison

Julie Fison is a mother of two boys, travel writer and an author of books for children and young adults. She has written a series of adventures stories for young readers, called Hazard Tiger TerrorRiver that are fast-paced and fun with an environmental twist. Her books were inspired by a family holiday on the Noosa River.

Noosa is also the setting for Tall, Dark and Distant, the first of her books for young adults. Her new titles are set in Asia. Sienna goes looking for her lost brother in Cambodia in Lust and Found and Hong Kong TV reporter, Lucy Yang gets more than she bargained for when she is handed a strange parcel in Counterfeit Love.

Julie also has written several titles in a series for the Choose Your Own Ever After series that lets readers decide how the story goes. You can buy Julie’s books here. 

How to get to Rio from coverBefore having children Julie worked as a television reporter in Australia, then Asia and Europe. She has  shaken hands with an orang-utan in Borneo, camped with cranky elephants in Africa and travelled the Mekong River on a barge, with only rat soup for sustenance.
