The Adult Proof of Age Card is being phased in by the Queensland Government to replace the Card 18+. Like the former, it provides proof of age for Queenslanders aged 18 years or older. It is ideal for people who don’t hold a driver licence or passport.
The card is also commonly used by people with a licence who, for security reasons, do not want other private information displayed as the Card 18+ and Adult Proof of Age Card do not include your address.
Note: The Card 18+ will still be recognised and moving to the new Proof of Age Card is optional.
This website provides a list of locations issuing the Adult Proof of Age Card.

- be at least 17 years and 11 months of age
- complete the Adult Proof of Age card Application/ Replacement (form F4772)
